MicroSnap® EB - Rapid Enterobacteriaceae Detection Test Kit (Detection Device - Step 2)

The Hygiena MicroSnap® Enterobacteriaceae Detection Device is the Step 2 detection device used in the MicroSnap® system for the rapid enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae bacteria. Designed for use after the enrichment step, this device measures microbial contamination through bioluminescence technology, providing accurate and quantitative results within hours.

When used together with the MicroSnap® enrichment device, the system delivers same-day microbial testing results, enabling faster quality control decisions in food production, environmental monitoring, and hygiene verification programs.

The detection device reacts with enzymes produced by viable Enterobacteriaceae, generating a light signal proportional to the microbial load. Results are then measured using the Hygiena EnSURE® Touch Luminometer, which converts the signal into quantitative CFU values for easy interpretation and documentation.
